Offerings

  • Holistic Occupational Therapy Evaluation

We meet to complete an evaluation, which is fit to learn the most about your child and your family. I complete evaluations to better understand your child’s sensorimotor development, the family’s goals and areas of concern, and your level of understanding about neurodiversity, co-regulation, and engaging in play. The Evaluation is conducted in-person, in your home or at an agreed upon location and lasts 90 minutes.

  • Play Sessions

Play Sessions are focused on, you guessed it, PLAY! All sensorimotor learning and regulation skills can be learned through play. We meet in your home and in the community to practice engaging meaningfully in play based on your child’s and family’s goals. This also offers opportunities to practice co-regulation skills, transitions, conflict resolution, and so much more!

  • Learning Sessions

Learning Sessions are focused on Parent support to learn about Autism or Neurodiversity, the Sensory System, the foundations of co-regulation, why routine is so important, strategies to help in challenging occupations (mealtimes, bathtime, bedtime, etc.). Basically, this is a time for you to ask questions, to be heard, and to be supported.

  • Building Sessions

Building Sessions are centered on skill development and integrating strategies within your family’s daily routine. We focus on your most challenging and important occupations (mealtimes, bedtime, transitions, etc.) and work through them together with sensory strategies, co-regulation techniques, and a supportive family-centered routine.

Testimonials

Meghan is an intuitive and thoughtful therapist who my family has had the pleasure to work with. She has a gentle way of listening and helping to find the root of behaviors through an Occupational Therapist standpoint.

Meghan truly listens to both myself as the parent and my children to find a way to help them function successfully in school, outdoor settings and employment.

— Amy V.

My son's frustration and impatience with typing and writing disappear with Meghan. She immediately understands and responds to his quirks, challenges and triumphs while letting him still be himself. She is a gem.
